About First Hundred Days

If it’s important for the President, it must be important for us, too.

In the ‘First 100 Days’ of president FDR’s administration, he created a benchmark that future government officials, media outlets, citizens, and more would use as a symbol of success. Could you accomplish something significant in your first hundred days? How might the beginning of a season define what was to come?

Today, it’s assumed that the first hundred days matter for a president—but what do they mean for everyone else?

The First Hundred Days podcast explores the early days of initiatives, jobs, campaigns, and positions. How do successful leaders prepare for a new challenge? What goals do they set—and do they make a difference? How do they navigate the transitions, problems, and opportunities of those first hundred days?

Featuring interviews with powerful leaders spanning a wide variety of industries and sectors, the podcast brings you into casual conversations with impressive people—and reminds us that if the first hundred days matter to the president, they matter to all of us.

Host and Producer

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a political science degree in 2017, I immediately opened my own wedding and event planning firm in Chicago. As I completed my third successful wedding season and looked toward the 2020 election on the horizon, I found myself itching to chat about my political background. With a lifelong dream to be a high-profile campaign manager, and always interested in the strategy and education of politics, a podcast seemed like the perfect step to combine my entrepreneurial and political interests. I am by no means an expert and I don’t know everything—but I’m annoyingly curious. I never shy away from a good question and I’m so excited to host conversations with impressive, creative, successful people.
